and thought that it was a well executed satire movie. while the troupe is british, they do a good job mixing the british style of humour, with the american slapstick humor. take the scene with the "bring out your dead" guy. its slapstick, but there are still subtleties that make british humour so distinctive.
and thats my unsolicited opinion on that movie. if you have any qualms with it, too bad. that is what i think, i am not a paid movie critic, im just some guy trying to offer a service. its free, you dont have to use it, so dont bitch.
Is this the first time you've watched Holy Grail? Also have you seen any other Monty Python stuff?
ReplyDeleteno, i have watched it many times, i just happened to have it handy for the first movie review. and yes, i have seen spamalot, and Live at the Hollywood Bowl.
